At Targa Tasmania this year Team Driver Phil Buggee brought Team Punto in third in the two-wheel drive and ninth overall in the Showroom category, reserved for performance vehicles manufactured in the last 5 years, competing as supplied by the manufacturer and retailing under $80,000.
Team Punto is seeded for the asp / Cut Price Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally directly behind the Ferrari 360 Challenge of FBR’s Brenton Griguol, and close competition between the two is expected. Provisional results can be seen within 30 minutes of the competitors finishing each stage on the internet at www.asprally.com and on screens at Penny’s Hill Winery, Main Road, McLaren Vale.
