With the Coffs Coast event in NSW and the East Gippsland Stages in Victoria being run last weekend, attention now turns towards the next round of each state championship.
The 2010 Bega Valley Rally is round 3 of the NSW State Championships, round 2 for the Victorians plus it’s also a round of the Victorian Hyundai Excel Series. The event, based at Eden for the first time, is scheduled for the Sunday 13 June on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend. The first dozen entries have already been received and all of them are from Victoria!
Preparations for the ‘new look’ event are almost complete, with the course check done recently. Checker Kam Baker wrote that “The selection of roads is nothing short of awesome. There is tight technical stuff, big wide fast open forest roads that leave the Shire roads for dead. Get your entry in, you won't be disappointed.”
Bega Valley Rally merchandise is available for the first time, with caps, polo shirts, warm ‘hoodies’, spray jackets, stubby holders and now also a ‘Bega Beanie’.
