With the return of 2012-13 Australian Rally Champions Eli Evans and Glen Weston, Citroen Australia have confirmed Victorian based company Tankformers, along with Fibertech Medical Australia, will partner the team for the 2015 Australian Rally Championship.

Eli Evans tests the factory Citroen for the first time last month.“To have two great long term supporters of the sport continue in this role is exceptional,” team principle Ron Cremen said.

“Both Peter Evans and Gerald Schofield have a vast level of experience and success in both business and motorsport, and to have them both onboard for this new campaign will be a great asset to the team.”

Citroen Australia, along with Tankformers and Fibertech Medical, will be supporting more than one car during the 2015 season. Tony Sullens, in another Citroen DS3 –R3, will be returning to the championship under the Fibertech Rally Team banner, and both cars also have the support of Citroen Racing France and Total Lubricants.

“With only five events making up the 2015 championship, every round will be critical,” Evans said.

“Glen and I are looking forward to a competitive season in the DS3 and cannot wait for the season opener.”

The team will test in Perth prior to the opening event in March to get the best possible performance from the car and crew, following a brief and wet test in early January.
