The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport says it is pleased that it has signed an agreement which will see IQG Rally Events Australia Pty Ltd appointed as the Promoter of the Australian Round of the FIA World Rally Championship.
CAMS President, Colin Osborne, was thrilled that the event has been able to find a new home.
"It is pleasing that a process which started over 15 months ago has finally come to fruition. Rally Australia is one of our hallmark international events and the legacy built since 1988 in Western Australia is something that both CAMS and IQG Rally Events Australia Pty Ltd will continue to build on for many years to come."
"With a brand new home base in Queensland, the Australian motor sport public can look forward to enjoying another world class event in 2007 and beyond," Osborne concluded.
