New senior appointment at Rally Australia

Rally Australia has strengthened the team at its Coffs Harbour headquarters with the appointment of Wayne Kenny as Senior Executive Officer. He started in his position on December 1 after moving to Coffs Harbour from Canberra.

He is already well known to the event’s staff and partners, having been an Assistant Clerk of Course at this year’s Coates Hire Rally Australia. He has had more than 30 years’ experience in rally organisation, including as Clerk of Course of the Rally of Canberra when it was a round of the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship.

Rally Australia Chairman Ben Rainsford congratulated Wayne Kenny on his new permanent role.

“I’m delighted Wayne has accepted this position. His experience and skills will make a significant contribution to future events,” Mr Rainsford said.

Simultaneously with Mr Kenny’s appointment, Rally Australia has moved to a new office in the centre of Coffs Harbour.
