The 2020 WRC calendar may have a new event added as early as today, according to latest reports.
Japanese media are reporting that Belgium's Ypres Rally is likely to be added to the championship.
The Ypres Rally will be a three-day affair, with the first two days based around the city of Ypres, before the final leg is based at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, 250km away.
Meanwhile, it is understood that Rally Germany will use only stages in the Baumholder military range in order to get their WRC event off the ground.
Rally Germany is expected to run for two days, on October 17-18.
