Competitors will remember the Old Highway stage from the Bay Stages rallies of the 90s. The stage features in the Rallysprint along with Bridge Creek, also utilised in many a Bay Stages.
The Clerk of Course, John Lockeridge, has stated “the roads in the area are as good as he has seen,” ensuring that crews will have a great day of motor sport.
With the club providing the opportunity for crews to pace note on the Saturday afternoon the competition will be tight at the front of the field.
With entries from the respected Canberra crew of Jon Waterhouse/Carolyn Wilson (WRX), Milton’s’ Charlie Drake (Mit Evo) and the fast improving RWD Nissan Silvia of Toby Goldburg/Craig Van Munster last year’s winners Aidan Falvey/Paul Crehan are sure to have a fight on the hands to retain the SportsClassic Rallysprint title.
