For the Globe Roamer III Rally, several officials are required to ensure the event gets off the ground, and after COVID, bushfires and floods, a return for the Queensland Rally Championship is a must.

In fact, there hasn’t been a state round there in well over a year.

September 10’s rally is run on some of the most famous roads of Queensland rallying, and after such a long break, competitors and rally fans are eager to get involved with this return.

“We are running on some of our tried and proven roads within the Imbil / Amamoor area. These roads have become part of Queensland rallying tradition and make up valued events of the Queensland Rally calendar,” Mal Bartolo, Clerk of Course, explained.

Several spots are needed to be filled

Anyone wishing to help ensure this event runs are encouraged to fill in the online form HERE or contact Iain Robertson on 0407 757 622 to arrange for a road closure location.

103 kilometres of competitive action will take place in the event, with the accompanying novice series running over 50 competitive kilometres.
