Sebastien Ogier has won the 2010 Memorial Bettega Rallysprint in Bologna.

The Frenchman, driving a Citroen Total World Rally Team entered C4 WRC, beat Petter Solberg's (who won the previous evening's Bettega Memorial Night Sprint) privateer C4 in the final.

On the way to the final, Ogier defeated the factory Ford Focus RS WRC of Mikko Hirvonen (who eventually finished third overall) in the semi-final, while Solberg overcame Italian Luca Pedersoli's privately entered Focus WRC in the other semi.

"It has been absolutely great fun this weekend," said Memorial Bettega Rallysprint runner-up Petter Solberg. "Even though I have to admit it got a bit heated up in the final with jump-starts and overheated engines.

"Too bad I didn’t manage to beat Ogier, but at least we have given the spectators a show to remember!"

Henning Solberg (Ford Focus RS WRC), Philippe Bugalski (Citroen Xsara WRC) and Felice Re (Citroen C4 WRC) were among some of the other stars who competed in the WRC category Bettega Memorial events at the Bologna Motor Show over the weekend.
