Ford have offered current Citroen driver Sebastien Ogier a contract for the 2011 World Rally Championship season, according to Ford's Director of Motorsport, Gerard Quinn.
Speaking on Total Rally Radio, Quinn said that Ogier's management had contacted Ford to discuss the possibilities for the 2011 season.
Ogier has been the star of this year's championship, winning his first WRC rally, and coming close to another win in New Zealand.
If Ford sign the Frenchman, it will be a major coup for both the manufacturer, and the championship.
Another favoured driver, PG Andersson, will drive for Ford on this weekend's Rally of Bulgaria. The former Suzuki works driver has also been testing Ford's new Fiesta World Rally Car, which will make it's debut in 2011.
