Six-time World Rally Champion, Sebastien Ogier, is dreaming of a chance to drive the Group B legend. The Audi Quattro is arguably the most famous Group B rally car, and had a host of famous drivers. Ogier, who currently drives with Toyota, would love a chance to drive the iconic car. “I’ve seen Mads (Østberg) recently who drove an Audi quattro Group B and I think that’s something I also need to make one day. I’ve often had offers to do it, so far I’ve always declined and always focus on the present. “But there will come sometimes where my agenda should be a little bit more relaxed and then I will try to make this experience of the past. Maybe the Peugeot 205 could also be special to try, if I have the chance too," Ogier told WRC Favourites. The different style of driving intrigues the Frenchman. “They are so different from the cars we drive now. Obviously the one we have now is the fastest rally car ever produced, but back then there was huge power already, but the rest was much more difficult to handle, I believe." “Brakes, suspensions, tyres, were definitely not really adapted to the power they had, so, I don’t know, just trying to feel and to imagine the challenge that it was to drive these cars." Ogier currently leads the WRC after strong results on the first three rounds of the season.
