Scheduled for the weekend of August 9 and 10, this fully pacenoted event now forms part of the NSW Rally Championship as well as being a multi-club rally, the Rallyequip Myall Rally.
Competitors can look forward to a compact, four stage pace-noted rally that will be run twice, giving a total of eight stages covering some 120 km competitive and 157 km transport.
Based on the Bulahdelah Showground, the rally format allows for up to three reconnaissance runs on Saturday and, during the event, three service opportunities on the Sunday.
The Myall Stages offers competitors real value for money – the State Championship entry fee is $505, while the Multi-Club component is $395. All entry fees include two tickets to the Saturday evening rally function dinner and crew briefing.
Only the best roads in the area will be used and will include much of last year’s route, so competitors should dust off last year’s pacenotes because many of the stages will be repeated this year.
As usual, officials are required to help out with the rally and are reminded that the format only requires one night away from home.
Further information on the Myall Stages can be obtained from www.nddc.com.au, Graham Humphreys (0409 126 308), Col Fletcher (0419 234 249) or Frank Neale (0429 081 248). Remember the dates – August 9 & 10 and pencil it in your diary now.
