Paddon confirms desire for Hyundai Rally1 seat

Kiwi rally ace Hayden Paddon has confirmed to RallySport Magazine that he is interested in a part-time drive for Hyundai Motorsport in next year’s World Rally Championship.

Speaking from New Zealand on Wednesday, the 2016 Rally Argentina winner said that any offer to share a car with Dani Sordo in 2023 would be one that he would seriously consider.

Hyundai’s WRC driver lineup has been decimated in recent weeks with the sacking of Oliver Solberg, and the early departure of 2019 World Champion Ott Tanak.
