Hayden Paddon has released a teaser video of his brand new Hyundai Kona electric rally car under its own power.
The car will be officially launched to the public on November 4, but yesterday Paddon took to the track at Highlands Motorsport Park for his first drive of the car.
"Today was a very exciting day! After 18 months of design and manufacturing, our Hyundai Kona EV Rally car turned wheels for the first time at Highlands Motorsport Park for its first rollout," Paddon said.
"While the car is just in its raw format at present while we confirm systems and operation of components, it was still hugely exciting for the team who have poured blood, sweat, and tears into this project.
"We now have a very busy 5 weeks ahead to strip the car, prepare the body shell, and start the final assembly. The official launch of the car will be 4th of November.
"We are all very excited to show the world something spectacular which we are very proud of."
