Queensland great, Errol Bailey, has died

We are saddened to report the death of long-time Rally Queensland clerk of course, Errol Bailey, after a long battle with cancer.
A Brisbane Sporting Car Club Life Member, Errol Bailey passed away on Thursday evening, July 22.
He had a long love affair with rallying, that culminated in him becoming one of Australia’s leading and most respected Clerks of Course.
Errol steered the national event to international status with the elevation to International Rally of Queensland, a round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship, when again it proved to be a series favourite.
RallySport Magazine will publish a tribute to Errol Bailey on Monday.
