Quit Forest Rally regs out now
- 2nd March 2007, 8:47am
The Quit Forest Rally is Round 2 of the NEC Australian Rally Championship and Round 2 of the WA Rally Championship. In addition a piggy back event, the Quit Forest Rally CLUBMAN, will be run on the Saturday; there are separate regulations for this event. The Clubman Rally will be part of the WA Clubman Series. The standard Entry Form is to be used for all three events, except for the ARC Registered Crews.
The rally will be run from April 27 to 29 and is again based out of Busselton, with the special stages around Nannup in the south west of Western Australia. The rally starts with a revised Busselton Toyota Super Stage on the Busselton foreshore on the Friday evening. This stage is re-run on the Saturday evening as the start of Heat 2.
The roads around Nannup have been graded and apart from a few places are in excellent condition. Each Heat has around 100km of special stage rallying.
Interstate competitors looking for assistance with making travel, accommodation or other arrangements are invited to contact the organisers.
In addition to the Quit Forest Rally and CLUBMAN there will also be the Shannons Busselton Tarmac Rally and the Shannons Busselton Speed Event running on the Busselton Toyota Super Stage on the Saturday afternoon. Supplementary Regulations for these events will be issued soon.
