A normally-aspirated Subaru Impreza RS class will be held within November's Kennard's Hire Rally Australia.
The brainchild of competitor Sam Hill, who has recently moved to the Coffs Coast from Sydney, a Subaru RS Challenge will be incorporated over two days of this year's event.
"The Rally Australia two-day event is the perfect way to bring a fantastic year of rallying to a close, with the opportunity to drive on the same roads as WRC icons in our own competition," Hill said.
"The Coffs Coast is the perfect holiday destination to bring the family, and share the experience."
Supp Regs are now available and can be downloaded from HERE.
"In terms of regulation, we will be adopting Tasmania's Buckby Subaru Challenge regulations, save for tyres. We don’t want any obstacles for Subaru RS competitors, so there will be no requirement for tyre brand.
"There are a few vehicles that have some modification, and in these cases these vehicles will be accepted as invitational entries and ineligible for awards. However, this presents a bit of a challenge for those of us in standard cars to knock them off."
The entry fee for the two-day event will be just $750, with a fully pacenoted event on offer over 14 special stages and 223km of competitive distance.
Crews will begin with a run around the super special stage on Thursday night, before contesting the stages on Friday and Saturday of the rally.
