Whether your interest is cars from the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s, there’ll be something for you to drool over as you view more than 50 rally cars that have made the sport what it is.

Ford lovers can enjoy a pair of ex-works Escorts built by Colin Bond’s team in the 1970s, or the incredible Group B Ford RS200 owned by South Australian Dave McDonough.

Devotees of Datsun will be crawling all over the ex-George Fury Group G 120Y, the gorgeous replica of Geoff Portman’s IFK 250 ‘Grunter’ Datsun 1600, or Neil Taylor’s award-winning 710 SSS.

Neal Bates will have a trio of Toyota Celicas on show: his classic RA40, and his ARC-winning ST185 and ST205.

Your fancy may be Stuart Bowes’ Mercedes 450 SLC rally winner, or his fully rebuilt Mazda 323 4WD, the car driven successfully by Wayne Bell.

Or, if World Rally Cars are your thing, Pete Schey’s ex-Prodrive Mikko Hirvonen Subaru Impreza will have you smiling, as will his replica Group B Peugeot 205 T16.

There are also some original Repco Round Australia Trial cars from Holden and Ford and a bunch of other rally cars with more history than you can poke a stick at.

Come along and visit the RallySport Magazine stand in Rally Alley – we’ll have a huge range of rally books, models, photos, posters, t-shirts and much more. It’s your one-stop rally shop!

Rally Retro Festival 2023 will be held at the METEC Driver Training facility, 112 Colchester Road, Bayswater North this Saturday, from 10 am until 4 pm.
