The 2020 AMH Rally of the Bay organising team and committee of the North Shore Sporting Car Club met last week to discuss the future of the 2020 event in light of the current COVID-19 situation.
“As a club, we are committed to supporting the local businesses of the Batemans Bay region who need this event more than ever since the summer bushfires. We are also very conscious of the needs of our rally customers and businesses who support our events,” president Brett Middleton said.
The AMH Rally of the Bay is a major draw card for the Batemans Bay region and a significant event on the MTA NSW State Rally Championship calendar. The event is set for Saturday the 4th of July.
Consideration of the advice from Motorsport Australia is also part of the process moving forward and we will be doing all we can to meet every safety requirement to put the needs of our officials and teams first.
Significant planning and communication is well underway with local authorities such as Councils, Forestry and Police.
The current situation is very changeable so more updates will be provided via the NSSCC website.
