Now is the time and opportunity to score some brownie points and clean out that shed, while making some beer money along the way and maybe make another rallyist’s life easier.

The Australian Rally Museum is hosting its inaugural ‘Rally Swap’ on Sunday 12 November, in association with the Coffs Coast Festival of Motorsport.

The Swap Day also features a rally car display, featuring no less than the iconic IYK-000 ex-works Ford Escort Mk 2 BDA.

The Swap will be held at the site of the Future Museum building, at Maston’s Road Karangi – just 10 minutes outside Coff’s Harbour – from 7.00am to 3.00pm. The site is on the fringe of the Coffs Harbour Lawn Cemetery.

Sites are available for anyone wishing to swap, sell or just get rid of bits and pieces out of their rally sheds and workshops.

6m x 3m sites are available for $25.00, which includes 2 entry passes to get into the Swap Day.

3m x 3m sites are available for $13.00 with 1 entry pass.

Site registration is essential and interested parties should contact Trevor Shelton on 0413 091 645, by October 15.

Visit www.australianrallymuseum.com.au to download the Expression of Interest form.

For anyone wishing to make a weekend of it, camping is available opposite the Rally Museum site at the Valley Stay Campground. Bookings can be made by contacting the site manager Alan directly on 0419 655 437.

For shoppers and swappers, parking is free and entry to the Swap is $5.00 per person.

Just follow the Coramba Road out of the Coffs Harbour city centre

All funds raised go to the Australian Rally Museum which is a not-for-profit organisation focussed on preserving the history of Rallying in Australia.
