Beazley had taken on the role with the commercial rights holder of the Australian Rally Championship at the start of this year, but says that work commitments have forced him to step down.
“I finish my term at the end of December,” he said today. “I simply won’t have the time to devote to the Rallycorp job in 2008.”
Beazley’s role at Britek will keep him busy next year. Along with his work with the Pirtek Rally Team, he will also have increased responsibilities with the V8 Supercar team run by Jason Bright.
“The Rallycorp work takes up a lot of time, but next year that time needs to be directed into Britek,” he added.
