Rallysprint death at Perth Motorplex

A tragic death occurred during one of Tarmac Events WA’s rallysprints on Sunday.
Announced by the Australian Autosport Alliance (AASA) via social media, the post was shared by event organisers confirming the death.
“We can confirm that there was a fatality at the rallysprints today,” the post on social media read.
“Our condolences go out to the family. We can’t imagine what they are going through.
“We will now wait for the results of a full investigation by the Police and the Australian Auto Sport Alliance (AASA).”
The Shannons Mid-Year Rallysprint had more than 90 competing cars taking part in the event.
