After convincingly debuting the Renault Megane R.S. 250s at November 2012’s Targa High Country, the RedBack Racing team, consisting of Australians Adam Spence and Erin Kelly and Indonesian Bunjamin Noor and British/Australian Lee Challoner-Miles, are well placed to continue their success at the upcoming 3rd round of the Australian Targa Championship.

After a convincing win for Spence & Kelly and a closely fought 4th place for Noor & Challoner-Miles, who successfully clawed back a 2 minute gap to finish 2 seconds from a podium finish after a small issue on day one, everyone involved is again expecting great things from these amazing cars.

December and January has seen the team focus on further testing and with a few small tweaks, Adam Spence team principle said: “Some of the changes we have made have come from new products supplied to us by our sponsors."

"With us entering our cars in the 2WD Showroom category, there isn't a lot of room for advancements on our cars, so any little bit extra helps"

Chris Bayman, Marketing Director Renault Australia, said: “On behalf of the team at Renault, I would like to wish Adam/Erin and the team all the best in the upcoming race.  It is fantastic to see the award winning Megane R.S.250s at the front of such a competitive field and we are confident the team will once again finish the weekend at the pointy end.”

The team at Redback Racing would like to thank major sponsors RDA/EBC Brakes, Hi-Tec Batteries, Motul and Corporate Impressions Australia.
