Leading Renault Dealer, the Brian Hilton Motor Group has thrown its support behind one of Australia's leading rally drivers, backing Molly Taylor's efforts throughout the remaining rounds of the 2015 ECB Australian Rally Championship in her quest to capture the Australian title.
Â
Â
Rally Australia is the penultimate round of the 2015 ARC and will be followed by the series final in South Australia at the end of October.
Â
The Brain Hilton Motor Group (Sydney City Renault and Brian Hilton Renault Central Coast) has thrown its weight behind Molly and her giant killing Renault Clio and is exploring opportunities for 2016 as well as looking to continue support for Molly into the future.
Â
CEO of the Brian Hilton Motor Group said the company has thrown its weight behind Molly Taylor because the company is passionate about the sport of rallying and because there is a clear synergy with Molly driving a Renault.
Â
"We believe it is a great way to promote Renault which is one of the fast growing European brands in Australia and Molly's performance in the ARC has been nothing short of sensational," said Josh Hilton.
Â
"Brian Hilton Motor Group is always keen to promote the product which we believe has loads of potential and with a driver of the calibre of Molly Taylor driving the car it gives a fantastic platform to do just that," he said.
Â
"Molly has proven herself in Europe and on the World stage and is a fantastic ambassador for Renault and the Brain Hilton Motor Group. She has an incredibly bright future and we want to be a part of it," he added.
Â
Josh Hilton says he was drawn to the sponsorship because he has a passion for rallying, being a competitor himself, a passion that was forged by his father Brian, the founder of the Brian Hilton Motor Group
Â
'We have been involved in the sport for a long time and I believe it is great to see a woman showing the guys how to drive at high speed in the forest, it is a an enormous example for other women and she has become a tremendous role model to both other young women but also young men."
Â
Molly's Renault Clio's livery has been redesign to reflect the new support from the Brian Hilton Group and along with co-driver Bill Hayes she will be out to recapture the lead in the title on the fast and challenging stages around Coffs Harbour.
Â
"It is fantastic to receive this support from the Brian Hilton Motor Group which will enable us to attack the final two round of the series and really push our opponents," said Molly Taylor.
Â
"It is really exciting to have such passionate rally enthusiasts backing us and we will be going all out to give Josh and his team some fantastic results and helping to promote Renault throughout the Sydney, Central Coast and around Australia," she said.
Â
Rally Australia is Australia's round of the World Rally Championship as well as hosting round four of the Australian Rally Championship, giving local drivers a chance to showcase their talents on the world stage while on home turf.
Â
Molly Taylor's car is the same Renault Clio that Scott Pedder steered to victory at last year's Rally Australia and in the Australian Rally Championship and with the brand new colour scheme this weekend she's determined to put on a good show for her new sponsors.
Â
"Its a big change with the look of the car welcoming the Brian Hilton Sydney City Renault and Jayco onboard. I can't wait to really show off the new look to our fans and supporters this weekend, I think it looks amazing!" Molly said.
Â
"It's great to be back in the car after such a long break between Rally Queensland and Rally Australia - let the rally begin!" she added.
