Backpacks had always been essential for a rally weekend, but our reliance on them might just slow now we’ve trialled a MAX Case.
Using two versions of the MAX Case range at Rally of the Heartland last month was an eye-opener in terms of the ease of use for the case products.
On each of the rally mornings, the gear was packed into the MAX Case and into the back of our ever-reliable (and fast) hire car.
As is often the case on a rally weekend, a photographer’s life includes running from road closure to road closure on a strict timeline, and often that means gear rolling and rattling around the back seat or boot of the car – not with the MAX case.
It takes little time to put your gear in the case, close it up, and off you go. There’s less chance of freak damage to your gear – they’re stored securely no matter what terrain you need to go over.
Nicks and bruises on the case itself were present, but only on the outside of the case. It’s a rally weekend, and what doesn’t leave without that? What was impressive, though, was the impact of those knocks within the case – there were none.
The case and the expensive equipment within it were not damaged throughout the entire weekend.
What makes the difference with MAX Cases are the inserts. These are custom-made for your desired application and can be ordered online.
In fact, the MAX Cases team has put together a combo deal that’s perfect for the photographer. The MAX430CAM storage cage is a package that includes the sturdy case and all the camera inserts you’ll need.
This deal is now on sale online and can be purchased HERE.
