Gelsomino says the speed of the car is between an R5 and latest spec WRC car. With its longer wheel base it suits the fast North America stages. "The aero is very efficient and I could feel it work from my side," she said.
Subaru USA's 2020 line-up is made up of Travis Pastrana and Semenuk. Pastrana was also at the test day and was very impressed by Brandon’s immediate speed.
Like everywhere else, rallying in the USA is on hold, with the next scheduled event in July. "I have worked with Subaru USA previously, in 2016 with Bucky Lasek," Gelsomino added. "Although I have been in many factory drives before, these two days of testing were very formative for me and my career. "Working with a talented driver like Brandon and learning from technicians and engineers from Subaru Motorposrt USA was a great experience." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wahN1x00ovE
