Safari Rally underway with a Toyota podium lock-out

Sébastien Ogier won the short opening super special stage at Safari Rally Kenya on Thursday as Toyota locked out the top three places.

His team-mates Kalle Rovanperä and Elfyn Evans were less than a second behind the World Champion on a dusty two-at-a-time stage that drew a huge crowd of enthusiastic spectators.

“It’s been a good day with a wonderful atmosphere and a lot of people coming out to cheer for us," Ogier reported.
