Exciting rallycross competitor, Troy Dowel, is facing his toughest battle yet after being diagnosed with acute leukaemia, while in Ireland.
The son of 2011 Australian Rally Champion, Justin Dowel, Troy was in the UK ahead of round four of the RX Academy in Finland, but has had to withdraw from the event.
Troy contested Rally Australia last year in a VW Polo S2000, and was entered in the upcoming Yarra Valley Stages in a Subaru Impreza WRX.
