“Tight, fast and potential disaster everywhere … fun though!”

They were Steve Shepheard’s thoughts on the ‘Woodhouse’ shakedown / media day stage at Scouts Rally SA in the Adelaide hills.

The SACHS Rally Team were the quickest car through the stage on a beautiful bright sunny day, with a good turn out of media, VIPs and sponsor rides.

“This is our first time at the Woodhouse Scouts complex, and Ivar’s team have done a great job. It’s a good stage, and only  minutes from the Adelaide CBD,” commented navigator John McCarthy.

“We are happy to lay down a good time, so we know we have a good set-up, but the fast shire roads out there in the Barossa are where it’s really at,” said team principal George Shepheard.

It all gets serious early Saturday morning when the Scouts Rally SA kicks off.
