Short three word sentences appear to be the easiest way to describe the SACHS Rally Teams preparations for the 2011 “Unrestricted BOSCH ARC”.

“Take it out” was the teams instant reaction when the news broke the ARC is adopting a new class, “ARC Car”, with no turbo restrictor. The teams now well developed Evo X will be running the unrestricted class this year. “ the new ARC Car class is a great step in revitalizing the ARC, with no turbo restrictor,  better exhaust manifolds and systems, the cars are going to sound way better, and go harder up the top end, so we decided to give it a go straight up and take the restrictor out “ said SACHS Team driver Steve Shepheard. “ The car has been retuned onto the 98 Control pump fuel, and we had a quick test late last week, so now its full steam ahead to get prepared for the first round in West Australia mid April”.

“SACHS are back”.  The team will again be backed by parts supplier SACHS for the 2011 BOSCH ARC. SACHS has a comprehensive range of suspension and clutch components for Australian road cars, and are excited to again be involved in the ARC as the team's major sponsor for the 2011 season.

“ Can not wait “ would be the final sentence to describe the teams feelings about this year. “ The ARC management team have been working on a major revitalization scheme of the ARC for a good 12 months now and it’s looking good for 2011 and beyond “ says Steve, “ having BOSCH come on board as series naming rights partner, the new unrestricted class, the new “rallyschool.com Australian Junior Challenge”,  a few good cost cutting and containment initiatives, five great events including a round of the World Rally Championship, all in all we think its going to be a great year for Australian Rallying “.

The SACHS Rally Team will be at the first round of the BOSCH Australian Rally Championship in West Australia on April 15th or you can follow us on our new “Facebook’ page, “sachs rallyteam”.
