The Red Bull Skoda Team will not participate in the 2007 World Rally Championship, however Skoda have decided to devote next season to developing a new Super 2000 car – the fifth manufacturer to commit to the category.

While Red Bull and its partners will search for a way to continue to run Andreas Aigner in the 2007 WRC, Skoda Auto will set up their new Super 2000 project based on the Fabia and therefore pool all its development capacities on that car.

Red Bull youngster, Andreas Aigner, drove for the Red Bull team in 10 WRC events this year and who has been able to prove his driving talent at the wheel of his Skoda WRC on several occasions.
