In January 2011 the CAMS Tarmac Rally Technical regulations were updated with various new freedoms.
Rules state that Modern (Post 1981) vehicles modified to M2 specifications have the scope to fit dog engagement and straight cut gearsets to cars such as Mitsubishi EVOs and Subarus.
To help tarmac rally teams integrate these freedoms into their vehicles, Albins Gear of Victoria is offering racer incentives to teams wishing to upgrade driveline componentry in their standard synchro-gearbox equipped vehicles.
