The Possum Bourne Memorial Rally, to be held on August 22, has attracted a quality field of entrants including current New Zealand Rally Champion, Hayden Paddon.

The Rally will begin from the Hamilton Workingmen's Club in Frankton, Hamilton. Competitors will head towards Raglan completing a short stage along Old Mountain road, before a quick refuel at the Raglan airfield.

It's then on to the famous Whaanga Coast stage, usually a stage in the International Rally of New Zealand, but run in the opposite direction. Stage 3 will run south along Kawhia Road to Oparau where the crews will have the opportunity to service. From there it's on to the Waitomo stage before heading north and repeating the four stages.

The rally consists of just over 200km of special stages, starting form Hamilton at 7.00am with the first car expected back at the Hamilton Workingman's Club at 4.50pm where a prize giving and dinner function will be held.

Other competitors include well known drivers Chris West, Andrew Hawkeswood, Mark Tapper and Stumpy Holmes.
