Sunraysia Safari – is this the future of rallying?

It’s not an off-road event, even though buggies and trophy trucks can run. It’s not a special stage rally either, even though rally cars do compete, and it’s fully route charted.

It’s run in daylight and it’s long and arduous, and it’s all on private property.

It’s the Local Legends Sunraysia Safari!  A four day Cross Country Rally run out of Wentworth in south west New South Wales, which incorporates off-road Cars, modern and classic rally cars – and bikes -  in September 2021.

Bruce Keys

Bruce has been involved in rallying for over 40 years. Although a senior administrator with CAMS (Motorsport Australia) for 35 years, he is probably best known for exploits as a motor sport photographer in the 1970s. He was awarded Life Membership of CAMS (Motorsport Australia) in 2011. Bruce is currently semi-retired and lives in Melbourne.
