Targa South West is proud to announce a new partnership with Killarnée Civil and Concrete Contractors who joins the event as naming rights holder for the next three years.

In just over two months Killarnée Targa South West will hit the roads of Pemberton and the Shire of Manjimup and is set to bring the thrill of tarmac rallying to new communities for the first time.

An exciting new addition to the 2010 tarmac calendar, Killarnée Targa South West is a warm up event to Quit Targa West and will be run on the weekend of the 29th – 30th May 2010.

Already strong supporters of tarmac rallying through their previous sponsorship of Quit Targa West Leg 2, Killarnée are pleased to put their name to Killarnée Targa South West.

Killarnée Targa South West Event Director, Bob Schrader, is delighted to have Killarnée on board and is looking forward to putting on a fantastic event.

“Quit Targa West has proven it can deliver definitive sponsorship benefits to local and national brands and we are delighted to continue the relationship with Killarnée in our new venture, Killarnée Targa South West,” Schrader said.

“Killarnée’s passion and dedication to tarmac rallying in Western Australia is fantastic and we look forward to working with them on this new challenge.”

Killarnée, a civil and concrete contracting company, was founded in 1998 and now employs up to 180 people.  Servicing their clients and employees by offering a first-class resource faster and more easily than any other company in their field Killarnée is known as a company that meets its client’s needs whilst maintaining a social conscience.

Killarnée Targa South West has been designed to give competitors the opportunity to gain more experience under tarmac rallying conditions and will run as a non-competitive, timed event.

The entry field will be limited to approximately 50 vehicles in 2010 and all competitors in Killarnée Targa South West will be guaranteed a slot in Quit Targa West providing their vehicle meets the required CAMS Tarmac Rally Technical Regulations.
