Up to 60 crews will tackle the ‘Advanced Hire Rallying of Classics’ on September 22.
Promoted by the Gold Coast Tweed Motorsporting Club, the event will be held at Willowbank Park in a fully-fenced area on roads made available by Ipswich West Moreton Auto Club, the Ipswich City Council and Willowbank Raceway.
Spectators will be well catered for with a number of excellent viewing locations close to where participating cars will reach up to 160kmh. Eighty percent of the course will be able to be seen at any one time and, with cars starting at 30 second intervals, there will be continuous rally action.
Opportunities for spectators to visit the pits and talk to the crews and service teams will also be available.
Spectator entry fee will be just $5 for adults, with children under 16 free. Refreshments will be available from the IWMAC’s canteen. The event is supported by Ian Boettcher Race Parts, Anglers Almanac Tide Guide, and Action Realty Ipswich First National Real Estate.
Willowbank Park is situated on Champions Way in the Ipswich Motorsport Complex.
