Brisbane based SaabCare Motorsport is gearing up for a new challenge, the team are heading south to Coffs Harbour this week for their first foray into the 2010 Australian Rally Championship.

SaabCare Motorsport driver Mike Bailey and Co-driver Caitlin Earley are stepping up to contest the Premier League category over the remaining four rounds of this year’s ARC.

This is a huge step up for Co-driver Caitlin, who at 17 is one of the youngest up and coming competitors in the ARC. In two years she has progressed from club level rallying, to State level and now ARC competition. Mike and Caitlin paired up for the first time late last year for the QRC season finale at Gallangowan, an outing which rewarded them with 4th place.

Mike Bailey said "Our objective is to make it to the finish of what will be a very grueling
Event at Coffs.

As a new driver and co-driver pairing in a relatively new car to the team our focus will be on making no mistakes and building up our pace over the weekend."

We must also thank our supporters and sponsors; SaabCare Motorsport, BP Ultimate, Castrol Edge, Big Tread Automotive and Nu Pure Spring Water, without their help we wouldn’t be competing.
