The Forecast: 2022 Ypres Rally Belgium

Picking a winner for this weekend’s Belgian WRC round is tricky. There’s a number of drivers ‘in form’, but there’s also drivers who have strong tarmac form that dates back to April’s Croatia Rally.

There’s 218 competitive kilometres ready to greet the WRC’s best, and Saturday’s leg could well define the event, with more than half the distance covered on that day along.

For Toyota, their manufacturers title chase is well and truly on track, as is Kalle Rovanpera’s driver’s title. Rovanpera can sew up the title mathematically this weekend, but it would require a remarkable stumble from his rivals.
