A long-standing event in the championship, Spain is a driver’s favourite with roads very similar to that of a race track, with quality surfaces underneath the best rally cars in the world.
With Kalle Rovanpera and Jonne Halttunen taking the driver’s and co-driver’s titles at Rally New Zealand, the next championship to be taken is the manufacturers crown.
Toyota is expected to take that title at a canter this weekend, which leaves the rally wins as the only unknowns for the season.
Where those go this weekend is hard to know, but we’re guessing that Toyota will continue its domination of the season.
