Upon the final results being published by the Australian Rally Championship, provisional winners Justin Northage and Scott Muhling dropped to second.

The Lotus Exige crew used outside assistance to receive a spare tyre between SS8 and SS9, resulting in a significant 30-minute penalty.

The limited number of 2WD competitors meant they only dropped one place and ten championship points from their original finishing position.

Father and daughter Thomas, who drove a Subaru BRZ in the event, now lead the 2WD Cup heading into their home round in Western Australia.
