Toyota star Harry Bates has revealed his desire to compete in the World Rally Championship in 2020.
Speaking to RallySport Magazine's Peter Whitten, the run-away leader of the Australian Rally Championship is aiming to tackle either the Junior WRC or the WRC2 category next season.
The Canberra driver also hopes to contest the Australian Rally Championship once again, in a factory-backed Toyota Yaris AP4.
"There's probably two realistic options for someone like me to get to where they ultimately want to be, which is in the World Rally Championship, and that's Junior WRC or the WRC2," he said.
"To me, they're the rallies that I need to be doing if my goal is to be in the World Rally Championship, and both of them provide exposure to the right rallies, the right areas and the right people."
