Australian co-driver, Rhianon Gelsomino, is back in action this weekend for Subaru Rally Team USA and driver Travis Pastrana.
Subaru will be contesting Round 4 of the 2020 ARA National Championship, the Show-Me Rally!
Usually contested as an ARA regional event, Show-Me features several of the stage roads typically used for the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood every March. With the cancellation of 100 Acre Wood this year, Show-Me has replaced it on the national calendar and will bring more than 60 competitors to the notoriously fast gravel stages around Potosi and Steelville, Missouri.
Subaru Motorsports USA driver Travis Pastrana comes to Show-Me looking to maintain momentum after a wire-to-wire victory at August’s Ojibwe Forests Rally, his first win since returning to the team full-time for 2020.
“After our success at the Ojibwe Forest Rally, Travis and I know what it takes to win together," Gelsomino said.
:In the few weeks since Ojibwe, we have been working hard on the Show Me Rally, to best prepare ourselves for the event. This will be Travis’ 9th time competing at 100AW/Show Me and my 6th, so we both bring a solid amount of experience with us.
"Travis last competed at 100AW in 2016, however I have done it the last 3 years, which is a good start. We can’t wait to get started and push for another win!”.
With high-speed roads, big crests, a handful of nighttime stages, and weather and road conditions that may differ from the usual March dates, Show-Me Rally promises to be a challenge for all competitors.
