Victoria's strict lockdown enforcements have brought about further changes to rallies in the latter part of a troublesome 2020.
Melbourne has just started a six-week Stage 4 lockdown, while the rest of the state moves to Stage 3 restrictions on Thursday morning.
As a result, September's Valley Stages has been moved to Sunday, October 25th, while the Akademos Rally has been taken off the calendar.
"With some luck and planning we may still be able to get the event up and running. More details to come over the next month," Western Victorian Crane Trucks Valley Stages director, Craig Jarvie, said.
Interestingly, the Historic Rally Association have a rallysprint scheduled at the Bagshot track, near Bendigo, on the day before the new Valley Stages date.
Given the uncertainty in Victoria at present, it is likely that even more changes will be needed before the year is done.
