Australian WRC co-driver, Dale Moscatt, has confirmed some great news for he and his Russian driver, Evgeny Novikov, heading into this weekend's Rally Finland.

They will contest Rally Finland for the first time, and Dale has supplied some amazing (and blindingly fast) in-car footage from their pre-event test (see below).

Dale reports to us:

"Evgeny and I can now confirm that we will be running in a Skoda S2000 in the upcoming Barum Rally (CZ Tarmac round of the IRC) on Aug 21-23. The deal (done through Skoda Motorsport) will see us run on the event by the Italian A-Style team. Evgeny has only ever competed in one tarmac rally which was unfortunately cut short due to a spectator accident with another crew, so it is fantastic that we will have assistance from both the factory Skoda team and also BF-Goodrich on hand at the event to help with his development.

"We can also say for sure now that we will also be in both Spain and GB rounds of the WRC in our Citroen Junior Team C4 with extra funding and support coming directly from Citroen Russia."

It's great news for the Russian-Aussie combination, and we wish them all the best for this weekend in Finland.
