Possum Bourne's former championship-winning co-driver, Craig Vincent, has recalled what it was like to sit next to the legendary New Zealand rally star. In an exclusive interview with RallySport Magazine, Vincent tells of his experiences with Bourne, who he won five Australian Rally Championship titles with. "His preparation to developing his notes to find the fastest line through a corner left no stone unturned, even if it meant getting out and shifting the odd rock or two," Vincent says. "It was an amazing experience to be in a car with a driver fully committed to his own notes, and feeling the genuine speed difference from my previous rides. It is really something very special. " Vincent also spoke about how "at one" Bourne was with his car during his record breaking run of seven consecutive Australian Rally Championship titles. "The car always felt like an extension of him and it never ceased to amaze me at what we could achieve as a team," he said. In the interview, Vincent also speaks about the injury in 2009 that has left him permanently in a wheelchair.
