Volunteering has rewards at 2015 Scouts Rally SA

Scouts Rally SA have long enjoyed the support of an army of volunteer officials, who have always enjoyed the best view of this iconic South Australian motorsport event. In 2015, they'll get closer than ever!
 

Two lucky volunteers that register on the Scouts Rally SA website to become an official by 30 June 2015 will win a ride in a rally car in the lead up to this year’s event, as well as a Kaiser Baas X80 Action Camera to record the experience on, thanks to returning supporter Software Hub.
 
In addition, there will be monthly draws leading up to the event, giving volunteer officials the chance to win a range of exciting prizes, including event merchandise, tickets to Coates Hire Rally Australia tickets, and much more.
 
Software Hub will also give each official 10% off their entire range of software and accessories through their website, www.softwarehub.com.au.
 
Scouts Rally SA, like many South Australian community events, relies on volunteers to run. Volunteer officials work in a range of different areas of the event, including stage management, timing, road closures, management, media and marketing roles all year round, before over 400 volunteers flock to Mount Pleasant, Gawler, Mount Crawford Forest and the Barossa Valley for the event, this year on 23, 24, 25 October. These roles provide opportunities for volunteers to make new friends, learn new skills, and often lead to further opportunities in motorsport.
 
In the fifteenth year of Scouts Rally SA, the event continues enjoys the support of 50 veterans of every event, while 200 have volunteered for at least ten years, and 450 have now been involved for five years or longer.
