The 2007 Victorian Rally Championship will run without a major sponsor after long-time benefactor, Racetech Steel, chose to withdraw their support.
Racetech’s financial input over the past few years has been a major boost to the state rally series, rewarding not only competitors with prizemoney, but the organizing clubs who received a considerable financial fillip as well.
No replacement sponsor has been found and with the first round of the Victorian Rally Championship a little over a week away (March 24), the likelihood of a naming rights sponsor coming on board at the eleventh hour seems unlikely.
