M-Sport quickly came back: “Eric had to do the recce in a hire car for these stages – indirectly related to the Tänak incident, but not solely.
“It’s not as though he had to give his own recce car to Ott. M-Sport had just ran out of spares when he encountered some issues with his own car.”
Remember, these Volvo recce cars were built 15 years ago …
