Former Australian WRC star, Chris Atkinson, is back in action in the USA this weekend when he drives a Subaru WRX STI in Illinois.
Atkinson will contest another round of the American Rallycross series – the season’s only double-header event - after kicking off the 2019 rallycross campaign.
With the Subaru WRX STI rallycross cars proving fast and competitive early in the season, all three team drivers have a great chance of victory!
"After a great result for the team in Ohio, I'm really looking forward to the next round at Gateway," Atkinson said.
Aussie Chris Atkinson is in action this weekend.
"Last time out we showed we had the pace to fight for victory, and really put the other teams on notice by winning both semi-final heats and locking out the front row for the final.
"Gateway is going to be a very important event being a double-header, and it will be key to keeping our championship headed in the right direction."
Atkinson's Subaru team-mates are Scott Speed and Patrick Sandell.
