Western Australians are planning to go rallying again, after the announcement of the latest easing of restrictions opened the door for competition to begin.
"This afternoon the (Western Australian) Premier announced there are no longer any restrictions for events in WA apart from the two-metre (distancing) rule," Rally Chairman, Ross Tapper said yesterday.
"We can go back rallying again.
"I would like to thank Scott Beckwith for his hard work and diligence on taking on this job (COVID plan preparation), knowing all the time if the government lifted the restrictions much of it would not be required," Tapper added.
"He hasn’t backed off at all in putting an excellent plan together that we are sure would be approved from the relevant authorities."
